The idea that would eventually become MagneticHeart Guitar Works was born in 2003 when I ordered my first Warmoth parts guitar as a 16 year old kid with his first job. From that point on, the obsession with tinkering grew. As I got older and began to settle on what my needs were as a player; I realized that "off the shelf" was never the perfect fit, only close enough to be manageable. That's when it hit me; If I wanted a custom fit, I needed to tailor the instrument to me. As I held that first guitar in my hands, I wondered why no one had ever thought of this before. The secret is that they have, but they've lost sight of that feeling as they grew. Our goal here is to continue to maintain that personal touch as we grow so that every instrument we put in your hands feels like it was made just for you. That's why we do as much of the work here by hand (including shaping necks) as we can; to maintain that heartfelt connection to the instruments.
